Home: Welcome

Here at Heartshield Project, we are driven by a single goal; to save lives through CPR/AED training and spread awareness of sudden cardiac arrest.  We provide free CPR/AED demonstrations for anyone who wants to learn and SCA education for schools and companies in Orange County. Heartshield Project also advocates for heart screenings and donates AEDs or CPR equipment to the local community. We believe everyone should know how to perform CPR and use an AED. Our programs will give you the knowledge and confidence to be successful in saving lives.

SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST AWARENESS

Over 356,000 cardiac arrests occur per year with over 90% being fatal. SCA is the #1 killer of student athletes and contributes to the #2 medical cause of death under 25. When CPR and an AED are used immediately, the survival rate jumps to 64%―so training is a life-saving initiative.

CPR & AED TRAINING

We provide CPR/AED training to equip you with the tools necessary in the case of an emergency. We provide BLS Provider & Heartsaver CPR/AED courses through the American Heart Association, along with free CPR/AED demonstrations to ensure everyone has the knowledge and confidence to be successful in saving lives.

HEART SCREENINGS

1 in 300 youth has an undetected heart condition that puts them at risk for Sudden Cardiac Arrest. A heart screening is easy, non-invasive, painless, and can detect most all heart conditions that put someone at risk. Don't take any chances with your children or loved ones, schedule a screening today with our partners in southern California
