HEARTSHIELD
PROJECT
Protecting hearts and raising awareness for sudden cardiac arrest and CPR/AED training in Southern California

Here at Heartshield Project, we are driven by a single goal; to spread awareness of sudden cardiac arrest and promote CPR/AED training. Heartshield Project also advocates for heart screenings and donates AEDs to the local community. Our goal is for everyone in the community to know how to perform hands-only CPR and use an AED in case of an emergency.

SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST AWARENESS
Over 356,000 cardiac arrests occur per year with over 90% being fatal. SCA is the #1 killer of student athletes and contributes to the #2 medical cause of death under 25. When CPR and an AED are used immediately, the survival rate jumps to 64%―so training is a life-saving initiative.
HEART SCREENINGS
1 in 300 youth has an undetected heart condition that puts them at risk for Sudden Cardiac Arrest. A heart screening is easy, non-invasive, painless, and can detect most all heart conditions that put someone at risk. Don't take any chances with your children or loved ones, schedule a screening today with our partners in southern California
